What do you guys point to as the exact moment that the Bible jumped shark...I would point to David and Goliath. The guy who played David was way to bulked up and big to be David. I wasn't buying it, plus Goliath totally wore lifts.
My vote goes to later in the run, where they make the HoYAY! between Judas and Jesus canon, but only to have Judas go evil and betray Christ. It's the Seeing Red of the NT.

Just located the PTC report, and they hate Buffywith a fiery passion.
Overall, WB showed a 95.6% decrease in violence from 1998 to 2002. That drop can be attributed Slayer moved from the WB network to UPN in 2001. almost entirely to the fact that Buffy the Vampire

Without even looking up the transmission date, that would be Spiral. And not a demon. Knight of Byzantium. Human. Relgious fanatic. Opposed to Evil. In a one-track PTC way.
And this isn't the first instance that the PTC hasn't realized that Buffy is actually worse than their interpretation of it.

Anyone see "The Greatest Action Story Ever Told" on MadTV in one of its first couple years? The Terminator shows up in Bethlehem, beats up the Three Wise Men for their clothes & protects JC... uh, Jesus, not John Connor. At the last supper they have the Terminator's robot eye screen thing focus on Judas & "Traitor!" pops up on it. Terminator whips out a giant gun & blows away Judas. Jesus says "What are you doing?" & heals him. "He was going to betray you!" BLAMBLAM!! Jesus reincarnates him again, "I know that." BLAM BLAM!! "Stop that!" "But..." "It's okay. It's meant to be." BLAM BLAM a couple more times w/ the Christ becoming more irritated with his cyborg protector. Very funny.
