So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

The Gift made me cry. It was the last thing in BtVS ever to do so. Buffy the character came back to life, but for me, the show never really did. So The Gift gets a pass.

Buffy and Faith on the porch after Buffy gets kicked out, was, I think, the last thing on Buffy to make me cry.

Raquel: SNERK! I feel less jaded now that I'm not alone.

I've been working on a song about the difference between analogy and metaphor.

Restless, Becoming, Graduation Day, Chosen, The Gift, Prophecy Girl,Grave.

Last four subject to change without notice.

What makes "The Gift" for me is the opening Previouslies. The rest of it doesn't wow me, but those Previouslies ...

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Prophecy Girl, Becoming, Graduation Day, The Gift, Restless, Chosen, season finales of random TV shows I don't particularly care about, Grave

I look more rad than Lutheranism

The Baseball!Slayer was the most recent to make me cry.

Becoming, Prophecy Girl, Restless, Chosen, Graduation Day, Grave, The Gift.

I just couldn't get behind The Gift knowing that Buffy would be back the following season. I really wanted Dawn to jump.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The last moment that brought me close to tears was Giles, Buffy, Willow, and Xander standing in the hallway of the school in Chosen.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Amanda was the last thing on Buffy to make me cry, just about every time.

t /no surprise

Proportion question: Who's shorter, Oz or Jonathan?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Wow, I cannot believe all the Grave-haters. Grad Day was such a letdown for me. Giant snake? That's all you got? Fuck that - so lame. I thought the buildup and finale to Grave was one of the best miniarcs ever. The Gift just meant nothing to me, just felt like I was being jerked around with a fake death. Plus the whole Summers blood thing bugged me quite a bit. Worst asspull ever.

Last crypoint: Anya's death.

move out and draw fire

Everything Hec said, except I'm not sure if the whole Summers blood thing was a worse asspull than "What if we give Buffy Thor's hammer?" which just reeked of "Dude, could the Hulk beat up Superman? What if we gave him a big hammer?"

But I've mentioned my issues on this before.

Graduation Day was more than the giant snake, though. Buffy and Angel and the bite orgasm. Faith and the Mayor. Faith and Buffy. Oz and Willow having The Sex. The whole student body fighting together. Buffy quitting the Council.

Yes, snake cheesy. But that's not even what I think of when I think of Graduation Day.
