It's a remora, dimwit.

I would have hoped that at least a percentage of the profits would go to some charity. And I'm wishing that we'll hear that ME gathered up the best stuff and is storing it for future museum placement. That, and I like the picture of ME writers giggling as they sneak manacles and weapons and leather into their cars at night.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

The TV Guide interview with Joss says that he took the scythe.

No, he's mailing it to the Iraqi's so he can prove they have a weapon of mass destruction.

Har Allyson.

I thought you might be referring to my question of "Which came first: The art dept. scythe or the comic book scythe?"

Nah, I was talking about souveniers that the cast and crew took.

I thought he might use it as a disciplinary tool. Keep it up on the wall, often tell stories about what's been killed with it, then if the kid starts getting too obnoxious, just make a few remarks about Daddy going and getting the scythe. It'd be effective, and help create a kid into horror.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

See, I was thinking Axcalibur would get a place of honor in Joss's underground lair. But that's just because I think it would be really cool if Joss had an underground lair.
