"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Maybe it was Matt's local WB - - rather than the network?

I don't think that they can do that. It's possible that FX's syndication deal has run out, and the WB grabbed it. Or maybe has some sort of "right of first refusal"

Local syndication is already occurring, outside of FX. When Buffy first started its syndication run, my local WB station ran episodes on the weekends, outside of FX's airings during the week. Later, the local UPN station picked up the syndication rights in the market, and now shows one episode on Saturdays at 5:00 PM and another episode on Sundays at 6:00 PM, with Saturday's airing in a different order than Sunday's.

hip deep in pie

Well, now that it's off the air as a new show, maybe the exclusivity rights don't apply to the re-runs. Look at how many channels show re-runs of Seinfeld and the Simpsons.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

And what's more romantic than being stalked by a guy in a frilly shirt and eye-liner?
The only way it could be more romantic is if he had a parrot on his shoulder.
I'm confused here. Is someone being stalked by Angel or Duran Duran?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

When did you see this, Matt? I have been taping all of the WB broadcasts and listing the promos in the Angel thread, and I haven't come across this. Is it going to be an Easy View (airing 2 hours before the regular Sunday schedule starts)?

It happened midway through Sunday night's broadcast of Charmed. I wasn't taping, and was so stunned to see the promo that I didn't catch whether it was going to be Sunday afternoons or Sunday evenings. But it was all high production values with Nick and Aly announcing it, so I didn't get the impression it was something the local cable feed was doing on its own. For about a second and a half, I thought it might be a big "FOOLED YA!" announcement of an eighth season, with Joss having pulled a fast one on the entire viewing audience.

All is well that ends in pizza.

A plastic version of Axcalibur/Excalibraxe is up to $6000 on eBay.

Diablo Robotico Up.

"...a case of Moxie soda..."

I'm a fan of Shasta myself. With a spot of Tab for good measure.

The reruns and reruns of reruns -- if the WB is making this a national move, than I can see it as a way to draw more viewership for the upcoming S5 Angel. It makes sense, insofar as that Angel's backstory didn't take place "off camera." You've got 3 seasons of Buffy to work as reference. I like the move, good product placement.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

From the auctions:

Buffy Summers (Sarah Michelle Gellar) has different Friday nights than most girls her age.

Yeah? Part of that might have to do with the number of leather jackets she owns. Take a look at how many are up for auction, it's truly frightening.
