I thought the Willow/Tara chemistry was palpable--and adorable--in "Hush," and then unfortunately minimal up until "The Body" and then the shift to UPN. By which I mean that I got a sense of sexual tension from them in "Hush," of attraction and comfort in "The Body," and of attraction in the UPN run, but that the WB's clear discomfort with the actors touching each other on screen hurt the storyline a bit. As Cindy points out, we never see Willow and Tara's first kiss; as other people have pointed out before, we don't know for sure when they first slept together, something that cannot be said of any heterosexual couple who got together during the course of the series.
I did see the storyline as being clearly one of romance and attraction. And for me the moment when it definitively moved from subtext to text wasn't "New Moon Rising," but "Who Are You?" Not Faith's remark, but Tara's "I am, you know. Yours."
What other women did Willow ever really get close to?
Amy, I suppose, but then she was a rat.

As it turned out, yeah.
Reading that farewell in The Australian made me all sniffly again.
OK, Hitler is figure skating in Hell even as we speak.
The WB just aired a big sparkly promo announcing that Buffy the Vampire Slayer is going to be airing on their network Sunday nights this fall, starting with the very first episode.
I sure wasn't expecting the first Mutant Enemy promo for the new season to be for a show other than Angel. Could this mean that the Fox/WB animosity is at an end, and be an unexpected good sign about how Angel is going to be treated?
(For one brief, shining moment, I didn't realize they were advertising reruns, and thought Joss might have pulled a huge surprise on everyone with an 8th season...)

t looks at calendar
t confirms it isn't April
Seriously? How weird. I mean, they're still being run on FX, right?

Their budget is six bucks a week and a case of Moxie soda. They might start airing commercials that you can feed an Angel actor for the price of a cup of coffee, before we ever see a promo for the show.
Hey, the shortage of food might at least keep DB in the trim shape he ended last season in. Okay, Alexis and Amy can't afford to lose any weight, so we may need to contribute there...
Something tells me the WB took a look at how their income levels changed when Buffy went to UPN, considered the tie-in potentials with Angel, then called Joss. I wonder if they'll show Seasons 6 & 7 or if those belong to Fox and UPN.
The WB in my area airs Buffy in syndication every sunday night already? What time are they talking about? Not during the primetime lineup right?? Because the WB on Sunday has programing from like 4 PM to 9 PM. With their Easy View stuff and all. I am still convinced they should have had Angel "Beginnings" like they have had the past few seasons with other shows. Instead they chose Smallville.
Smallville is either their top-rated or their second-best rated show. Angel has *never* performed well in reruns. Which one would you have picked, if you were a network exec?
