Another social casualty...

I never stopped liking Buffy. I just wanted to hug her and feed her comfort food until she was more herself.

I say funny, because it seems both groups of shippers are not happy with her.

Which is so weird (and I know I've specifically mentioned this to you before, Cin) because WHY THE HELL ARE YOU SHIPPING THEM WHEN YOU DON'T LIKE HER???

It seems strange to 'ship a pairing when you violently loathe one of the two parties in the 'ship.

Always Anti-fascist!

I would be inclined to agree, Sean.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That just reminded me of a new portmanteau I learnt today in the LJ crossover challenge -- Spicey.

Mmmm. Finger-licking good.

Spicey.

Dare I even ask? Please say it isn't Spike/Pacey. Lie if you have to.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I was hoping that's exactly what it was.

Nobody

WHY THE HELL ARE YOU SHIPPING THEM WHEN YOU DON'T LIKE HER???

To be fair to my b/a loving friend (and she's a friend), she always did like Buffy. She got angry with Buffy when after the attempted rape, Buffy wanted to take Dawn to Spike to be erm... babysat, while she (Buffy) went after Warren or Willow or whomever it was that needed going after at that point.

I understand why Buffy did it. It was stupid and wrong, but I get that (on a very deep level sometimes, sadly).

But yes, we vented about this is LJ during the season, I think. I think it's a really funny thing, when people love Spike beyond reason, think he's so good and misunderstood, and want him to be with Buffy, whom they think is a using bitch. Well if he's the cat's ass and she's what comes out of it, why do you want them together? It cracks me up when I'm not thunking my head.

Dare I even ask? Please say it isn't Spike/Pacey. Lie if you have to.

Hmmmm. I don't know this one, but I betcha a lie is in order.

BWAH! Yes, the Spoldemorts.

We need to use this and make it catch on for the insano-Spuffies. (Note to Buffistsas - I don't mean you; I have b/s leanings from time to time, you know whom I mean). I think I will tell Bronzers about it, too.

Spoldemorts. What? It's a thing.

See, this I could get behind. With a camera.

Spoldemorts! Spoldemorts!

Hey, I've written it. Twice since Chosen, even.
