Huh. I have a massively long car ride to look forward to Saturday, and another one Sunday.

I might even get this puppy closer to a finished state.

But that's the thing, you see. There are so many threads dropped, for time or what have you, that could be interesting, that part of my AU love right now is just running with them.

Yes. And in this AU of yours, it really works. And it's gorgeous. Really Plei, I read it in the wee small hours and am sorry I didn't read more slowly. Gah.

I think you got up just as I was crawling into bed last night.

This feels like the wee hours to me. I'm too old for 5/6 hour nights, I fear.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm too old for 5/6 hour nights, I fear.

I think I was born too old for them, and yet they keep on happening to me.

I *used* to be able to do 5/6 hours and have it feel like a full night's rest. Only a 2/3 hour night would do me in. I hate having lost that ability.

Art Crawl!!!

So, was he just looking for a little publicity?

Cindy - Jul 08, 2003 7:21:52 am PDT #3189 of 10001

Well publicity, possibly whatever he got in the 'settlement' and then there's this at the end of that article...

While the case was pending, Lee was in Los Angeles filming "Sucker-Free City" for Showtime, a cable network owned by Viacom.

*cough*

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

The most amusing sentence of the whole article:

Cochran and Boies alternated sentences as they read the joint statement to Justice Walter Tolub.

What, trouble in paradise, guys?

If I only had a brain...

I'm sure you guys have already covered this, but I feel so damned betrayed.

IGNFF: On a side tangent, what was the purpose of the – I hesitate to use the phrase – sort of clumsy storytelling with the whole "Giles not touching things" thing...

WHEDON: It was just us having fun.

IGNFF: It didn't seem to really pan out besides making a lot of people crazy on the Internet...

WHEDON: That was just a fun runner for the diehards, so you watch every episode and you're like, "AH! You're right, he leaned on it, but he didn't touch it!" It was just us having a little mystery fun.
