That was a great interview. But where was the Angel spoilage lite stuff? (Yes, I did get the entire interview to show up, finally.)
'Safe'
Buffy 4: Grr. Arrgh.
This is where we talk about Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No spoilers though?if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it. This thread is NO LONGER NAFDA. Please don't discuss current Angel events here.
They mostly evacuated the hospitals in the days before the Boom anyway, so either way Shannon's probably ok.
The Jane E. interview was great. I had a dream sort of related to that after reading it. I dreamt that Joss Whedon became the head writer for Smallville. I would love to see Jane or Joss working on Smallville, because as much as I love the show it lacks humor 90% of the time. No humor works on "24" but the camp and HoYay on Smallville leaves a little humor to be desired and it usually lacking. Hell they should just give every script to Joss or Jane before they make the episode and let them add jokes.
And I know Joss could come up with a perfectly acceptable to the denizens of Smallville excuse for Lex and Clark to make sweet passionate love to each other. Naked of course, in the Talon.
I think that the pool table would be better.
That pool table is porn all by itself.
I can't get to aintitcool at all, not even the main site. Dammit. What did Jane say about Joyce's visit to Dawn in Conversations With Dead People? Was it the FE in Joyce's skin, or Joyce?
I've always thought it was the FE in Joyce's skin, but I've never been sure about the Joyce who appeared in Buffy's dream, who kept telling her she needed to get some sleep. I was so sure that was the PTB, telling Buffy she needed to get some sleep so she could have a prophetic dream that would show her the way. And when she curled up with Spike and actually did get some decent rest, I was sure she'd wake up in the morning with the answer. Heck, maybe she did, but if it was tied together, they didn't mention much of it.
That would have been a nice bit of follow-up. Sigh.
Oh, and an actual reason to get Buffy out of the house. It was too noisy there for her to get a decent nap.
I recently read a Joss interview where he more or less stated outright it was the First Evil in "Conversations with Dead People." I've seen nothing official about Buffy's dream though - could have been a visitation, could have been symbolism in a prophetic dream, could have been Buffy's common sense speaking via the image of her Mom.
Coming in late -- Harry Groener was (and has been again, I think, in very short appearances) the Secretary of Agriculture in the Bartlet administration. Bartlet's ep-ending speech to him in that State of the Union episode had me shouting "just ascend already!" at the TV.
