That wasn't my besides, it was my point. You can't put it as easily into "that's just Willow's mindset" when even the unstoppable magical forces have a "gay now" theme.

EDIT: Rereading my first post, I see why no one got my point: the post's a disaster. I'll try to restate. The argument "Willow's bi, she just doesn't call herself that for whatever reason" is most damaged by the events of "Him". One would expect her to be willing to find a male attractive with such a simple and all-powerful "see jacket, love boy" spell, if she were going to be willing at all.

Alyson Hannigan has been in a number of reasonably successful movies since starting on Buffy, including the two American Pie movies with a combined domestic gross of over $246 million. While Sarah's been the lead more often, pretty much every such movie has vanished at the box office—she's only had really notable success when playing second fiddle to a CGI great dane.

Yeah I don't want to but I think we have to mention "Simply Irresistable" just for fun.

I enjoyed SMG in Scooby Doo for some odd reason.

I have a feeling that if "Romantic Comedy" flops that people are gonna never let her hear the end of her decision to end Buffy and pursue movies. Although that wasn't what she said, it feels like what she meant. I understand her decision to quit, but no matter what she does, she will always be Buffy Summers to me.

Then again Alyson Hannigan will always be Willow. Nick Brendon will always be Xander, and ASH will always be Giles. No matter what they do.

I don't have much difficulty seeing most of the ME actors as the new characters they play—I was aware of ASH and Alyson before their stints on Buffy, ("Say my name, bitch!" didn't hurt, either...) and Sarah's assorted films and SNL appearances have differentiated her from the character for me. But despite my love for Psycho Beach Party I saw Nick as Xander on a surfboard throughout.

it is a sign of my poor taste that AH is almost as much Michelle as Willow in my mind, although, I will state, I always forget the part where she was FPJ's girlfriend at the beginning of Boys and Girls, because I try to forget that movie, but I own AP1 & AP2, and plan to see the third opening weekend. I irrationally love those movies.

It may help a bit that the first image I get when thinking about Alyson is not any of her roles, but instead her in that Tigger suit at the Playboy Mansion Halloween party.

When I saw AP1 in the theaters I just kept saying to myself, "That isn't Willow, that isn't Willow, that isn't Willow." I loved both American Pie movies and are one of the few movies I own on DVD. But when AP2 came out it was still Willow without the magic to me.

She's a great actress, but I think I am too far invested in Buffy to ever see them as anything but people from the Buffyverse. But that is my problem, not the actors.

I think AH will do good work.

I think SMG could do good work, bt she seems to make poor choices and also not have a passopn for acting. I thin kshe would do well to take some time off, I think she is burnt out and needs a rest.

JM is too old really to go on to stardom, but I think he will be able to keep himslef comfortable.

TV weirds me out because of the lack of rehearsal and training, because I have almost always worked in educational theatre, I feel I can see how people could grow, given rehearsal and training. TV is so weird to me because the acting seems to be dependant on the actor only.
