And if I combine all of your fanwanks, I actually get a season that made complete and total sense!
You're too kind, but I think if you combine all of our fanwanks, you'd have a story with all the clarity of Umberto Eco and the direction of a blind gopher. But it would definitely be entertaining! (As both Eco and blind gophers often are.)
Also one thing I forgot to mention last night, but a small detail I wouldn't normally notice on the first watch. Buffy was wearing pointy shoes during her battle. And okay, I get that is sort of in now, but pointy dress shoes? Come on...wear you damn knee highs, its the end of the world as we know it, bust out some ass-kicking gear.
Hee - I noticed those pointy shoes too, and thought "aww, it's Buffy wearing inappropriate clothes for a battle one last time! Yay!"
That said, the shoes were pretty cute.
The only thing that assuages my profound sadness that I only found the Buffistas five months ago is the fact that I found you.
I came late to the show, S2 reruns, start of S3. Came waaaay late to the Buffistas party.
But even in five months, many of you here have made a difference. And I'm glad.
Does anyone else feel kinda bad about the Summers house? There's not a copper pipe refit in the world that can fix
that
kind of damage.

sniff
That's almost as beautiful as the SN dialogue.
Yes, I feel bad about the house. The tilework on the sideboard was gorgeous.

I kinda felt bad about the cemetery and that Dawn and Buffy wouldn't have anywhere to visit Joyce. Same for Tara if she was buried there.
It just occurred to me that we never did find out what was in the note she left him after the best night of his life.
Dear Spike,
Look, the fate of the world could be in my hands (*again*, which, I don't mind telling you, is getting really old), and I just needed one. good. night's. sleep. But --
YOU SNORE!!!
