t eye-roll No way. That's just maudlin (and would have ruined the lovely goo-free interactions between Buffy and Spike I enjoyed all through the episode.) And that moment was about so much more than Buffy's romantic relationship.

Buffy 4: Grr. Arrgh.
This is where we talk about Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No spoilers though?if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it. This thread is NO LONGER NAFDA. Please don't discuss current Angel events here.
The 'shipper wars will never end.
Mind flashes to a nursing home, years in the future. Cranky old people with no teeth chasing each other around in wheelchairs and fighting over which one she *REALLY* loved.
Fuck it. Buffy's gonna marry Pacey.
Oh, I'm not a 'shipper. Just passing on what someone else (who IS a 'shipper) said.
And technically, that's TWO lines.
Damn it.
I was just thinking that Buffy is too old for Pacey, but they are the same age, aren't they?
I forgot to say before: HOORAY FOR DE-LURKERS AND LURKERS AND EVERYONE ELSE HERE.
I was just thinking that Buffy is too old for Pacey, but they are the same age, aren't they?
Pacey, to Buffy: "Damn, I thought *Capeside* was fucked-up!"
I was just thinking "Spike got to go out in a blaze of glory" and being fine with it.
The Creek comparisons, on and off the show, are just cracking me up. So, Spike=Pacey, Buffy=Joey, Angel=Dawson? Ouch, that's so unfair on both Angel and Buffy.
Oh, and the running-along-the-roof shot was the best '50s monster movie pastiche EVER.
Buffy ended the show without being in a relationship at all. She wasn't with Spike or Angel. She was opening herself up to the possiblity that she wouldn't be with anyone when the apocolaypse was over, at least that's how I read her cookie dough metaphor.
One of the things I wanted for Buffy for the entire run of the series was for her to be on her own, not in a relationship or pining or needing a guy and I hope that now that she's not alone in being the Slayer she won't feel she has to be with someone.
