Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Nope-- loved it the Wood is prettier-- just perfect!!

Also, the lines I am earwormed with are

We’re neither pure nor wise nor good; We’ll do the best we know.

From Candide

and

nto the woods--you have to grope,
But that's the way you learn to cope.
Into the woods to find there's hope
Of getting through the journey.
Into the woods, each time you go, There's more to learn of what you know.
Into the woods, but not too slow--
Into the woods, it's nearing midnight--
Into the woods to mind the wolf,
To heed the witch, to honor the giant,
To mind, to heed, to find, to think, to teach, to join,
To go to the Festival!
Into the woods,
Into the woods,
Into the woods,
Then out of the woods--
And happy ever after!

AND THEN
Cinderella: I wish...

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

It occurs to me that where we once had one slayer and a bunch of watchers, we now have a bunch of slayers and one watcher (plus one former watcher in LA ). Bit of a power shift.

I'm beginning to understand this now. It's all about the journey, isn't it?

I can't believe it's over. I'm going to have to rewatch, because I'm too emotionally wrung out to have any actual thoughts. The Scooby scene in the hallway started the allergy attack, but then I totally lost it when Willow went all glowy with the white magic. I know, that's a weird scene to get all emotional over - particularly since it was in the previews so I knew it was coming - but it suddenly hit me how far Willow has come, and how much I love her, and that I won't get to see her journey anymore.

I'm not even going to get into how much I loved Spike saving the world.

Amber - there's no chance you're in the Boston area, I suppose. I watched the same ones as you, and pretty much 99% of the times you post, I just sit and nod.

Cindy, I live close to Atlanta. And a lot of the time I don't even bother to post because you've already said what I was thinking.

Cindy, that is creepy. But maybe cause:

These are the days
you'll remember.
Never before and never since,
I promise,
will the whole world be warm as this.
And as you feel it, you'll know it's true
that you are blessed and lucky.
It's true
that you are touched by something that will grow and bloom
in you. These are the days you'll remember.
When May is rushing over you with desire
to be part of the miracles you see in every hour. You'll know it's true
that you are blessed and lucky.
It's true that you are touched by something that will grow and bloom
in you.
These are days.
These are the days you might fill with laughter until you break.
These days you might feel a shaft of light
make its way across your face.
And when you do you'll know how it was meant
tobe.
See the signs and know their meaning.
It's true, you'll know how it was meant to be.
Hear the signs and know they're speaking
to you,
to you.

Nobody

She needs shoes!

We'll drown her in them. When I was working, I liked Atienne Aigner (sp?) - because they were pretty with suits, but comfy. Buffy needs something more funky though for that office supply house cover in Vegas

I'm a fucking wreck. I want my show!

(Also - I'm so very glad it ended like this, now.)

(Poor hairloaf)

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Oh yeah - Vi rocked!!!

and

Spike getting to take out the "Welcome to Sunnydale" sign one last time

I didn't even think of that!!!

Not necessarily going fists and fangs, but with a laugh - that's how Spike wanted to go, and he Sydney Carton'ed to boot!

Plei, what was your Sunnydale partybus comment from earlier - damn, I will have to go look and repost (if it's unspoily).

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I disagree. I think it would have been selfish of him, because I think she, being Buffy, would have felt "my sort of not boyfriend died to save the world" all over again, and would have taken two guilt steps back.

And, it would have put paid to any future BuffyNAngel4Evah vibes, for those holding out hope for special appearances of SMG on AtS. Angel's broody enough as is, we don't need broody Buffy and broody Angel. Unless they plan on laying some eggs together, or something. IJS

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I think she did love him in the end--the way she might love Willow, or Xander, or Giles. In any case, I don't think her feelings for him are simple. What makes the whole Spike/Buffy dynamic in the last few episodes so interesting for me is not the "Slayer and Vampire in love" thing, but the "Slayer and Vampire as friends and staunch allies."

What a change from "Becoming," when Spike only did the bare minimum to help save the world (and for dog racing and Manchester United at that).

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

(hey, you're bogarting the parens)

(I think she needs some stompy boots, some flirty sandals, and a wicked pair of pointy stilettos.)

(And maybe one pair of cute tennis shoes.)

Awww, Cindy. You made me all verklempt! You accomplished what Joss could not. Be proud.

Oh I did like the last shot. Buffy smiling at the possibility of the future and not being alone. I thought that moment was excellent and the perfect way to go out.
