Yesterday I watched Prophecy Girl. And bawled. Today I watched The Gift. And really really bawled. I thought I was done, but then I came here and read the filk, and the remembrances, and the tributes, and many of the articles that were linked to, and now my eyes are all leaky again.

I remember my first time....
It was my sophomore year in college. I was studying for my math final by examining the output from my television set.
And then my TV output some show about vampires.
And it had relatively attractive people in it.
And the blond girl in the first scene....whoa....she's the vampire? And not the vaguely jerky guy? Interesting.....
Needless to say, I got hooked. And I went on to hook the wife, her sisters, a friend in DC, and a coworker.
And I've been lurking since season 2 on Table Talk.
And tonight it ends.
