I'm a vision of hotliness, and how weird is that? Mystical comas. You know, if you can stand the horror of a higher power hijacking your mind and body so that it can give birth to itself, I really recommend 'em.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Today, my job annoys me.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I'm all for maintaining precedent, but this isn't really an official change, since there was never an official "limiting."

So: no change in status quo, no need to make it official, IMO.

Oh, natter. It just burst from my soul.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I think it is totally appropriate to change the title and slug to reflect the more generalized nature of the thread.

I agree. I think most of us agree. I just think we should vote on it, because I don't like the precedent it would set if we didn't.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I just think we should vote on it, because I don't like the precedent it would set if we didn't.

Isn't it already there? Did we vote on any of the Wonderfalls related slug changes to Tim's thread?

What is even happening?

Indeed I have. I am for us having a comics thread. I just think we should go through the process, and not just slip it by.

Oh. I thought you meant sneaking with the whole idea, not voting vs. bullshitting. I don't care if we vote or not. I'm not proposing it officially, but I'll gladly second whomever does. Or I'll gladly chip in with the bullshitting. Either way, I am good.

What I (personally) am not good with, is us having a discussion so long and dragged out, that it would have been quicker to vote.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The Minearverse thing was just clarification -- the thread was always to discuss all of Tim's work. Wonderfalls is Tim's work. To me, the comparison would be wanting to discuss the Joss X-Files comics in the Jossverse thread.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I would just as soon leave it as is rather than vote on whether or not to change the slug. People can already discuss non-Jossian comics in there. We do occasionally talk about RPGs and other non-comic stuff (the TotV books).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yup. The ship has so sailed on it being a Fray thread.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

Just catching up with the discussion (take a night off from the internet...)

I'm all for expanding the thread purpose and changing the slug. I've been going back and forth over whether this should be something we vote on, but as I think through the arguments, I realize it won't matter what we do. With Joss writing Astonishing X-Men, volume to the thread is bound to increase no matter what, and discussion of his run will inevitably drag in discussion of other comics. Couple that with a need to find a home for the Bat-discussion, and it is obvious (to me) that nothing we do can probably change that.

I do look forward to quality comics discussion. The "discussion" one sees on comics boards is laughably bad.
