I don't give a good gorram about relevant, Wash. Or objective. And I ain't so afraid of losing something that I ain't gonna try to have it. You and I would make one beautiful baby. And I want to meet that child one day. Period.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I would just as soon leave it as is rather than vote on whether or not to change the slug. People can already discuss non-Jossian comics in there. We do occasionally talk about RPGs and other non-comic stuff (the TotV books).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I would just as soon leave it as is rather than vote on whether or not to change the slug

Yup. The ship has so sailed on it being a Fray thread.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

Just catching up with the discussion (take a night off from the internet...)

I'm all for expanding the thread purpose and changing the slug. I've been going back and forth over whether this should be something we vote on, but as I think through the arguments, I realize it won't matter what we do. With Joss writing Astonishing X-Men, volume to the thread is bound to increase no matter what, and discussion of his run will inevitably drag in discussion of other comics. Couple that with a need to find a home for the Bat-discussion, and it is obvious (to me) that nothing we do can probably change that.

I do look forward to quality comics discussion. The "discussion" one sees on comics boards is laughably bad.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

You know, I kind of like how 'bats' comes up everywhere.

Bats. Not just for your hair anymore.

Is 'bats' the new black or the new panda?
