I think that the reason that this is sometimes an issue is because people do get very invested in each other as they get invested in the board, and sometimes it is easy to confuse the emotion of "I think Poster A doesn't like me" with the emotion of "I think this board doesn't want me here."

Others may choose to see themselves as inside or outside a power center. I do not. My voice counts here as much as anyone elses. If my dear friend Shawn wants to come back and debate with me, she will (I won't be home tonight so it'll have to wait until tomorrow). If she insults me, gets offensive, or breaks any other rules, I WILL ask her to be warned, and she knows that I will.

Since being mean or snotty or just not nice is not something that I think is warnable. I, as a free-thinking in control of my happiness here and anywhere else person, will ignore any posts that take that tone with me. They have nothing to do with me.
