As the person who wrote "attention-span challenged," I did it because a)I thought it was funny and b)I didn't want to be percieved as criticizing the filk, or saying "I can do better." I'm sorry to hear it's read as insulting.

And there are people who don't like to read filk. Who don't know the tune. Who find it a hundred times more difficult to get important content out of something structured as a song than they would if it were in prose.

PF update: I've created a Buffista member folder. We can control access to it. All the stompies (save Liese, because I don't know her PF ID) have been made hosts.
There's nothing in there now. Lance said he could move the other stuff over today -- we shall see.
Or we can start from scratch.
I'd say move everything over except for the new threads just created in the last few days.
I would definitely move Diaspora Natter in there. I have no strong feeling either way for the other threads.
