Since the ides are around the 17th of the month, perhaps we could have a recurrance of the theme when we reach 17:
Natter 15: Beware the Ides of Natter
Natter 16: RIO'S MAKEOUT DEN
Natter 17: Et Tu, Foamy?
A thread to discuss naming threads, board policy, new thread suggestions, and anything else that has to do with board administration and maintenance. Guaranteed to include lively debate and polls. Natter discouraged, but not deleted.

The Ides are either the 15th or the 13th, depending on the month, so the ship will have sailed by Natter 17.
Specifically, The Ides are:
March 15, April 13, May 15, June 13, July 15, August 13, September 13, October 15, November 13, December 13, January 13, February 13
ETA:
There's a mnemonic:
Everything can be summarized in three simple rules, one of which has a poem associated with it.
March, July, October, May
The Nones are on the seventh day
Holy crap.
/me bows to DX's advanced Ides knowledge.
Two years of high school Latin, unfortunately. Some stuff just sticks with you.

I should have taken Latin. /regret
Boggles at Cashmere...
I really hated it.
I really hated it.
Yes, I heard that it's dreadful, but helpful. So there's the rub. I roomed for one semester at college with a Latin major--in COLLEGE mind you! Ew.
Two years of high school Latin,
That's more useful than what I got out of 2 years of HS Latin - the ability to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in a dead language.
God. You just reminded me that I can sing "Jingle Bells" in Latin.
The horror.
I took three years of Latin, and didn't know that. Of course, my Latin teacher was a man who named himself Phat Daddy and who would frequently decide teaching Latin was boring, so he'd do something else.
