Beware the Ides of Natter: 15
Let's make a blood oath now, and resolve to stab anyone in the back who disagrees with Ides?
Ummm -- Rio's Makeout Den was suggested earlier. Could we save that for 16?
t deleted because Jim Perry would never say something like this -- Betsy
Since the ides are around the 17th of the month, perhaps we could have a recurrance of the theme when we reach 17:
Natter 15: Beware the Ides of Natter
Natter 16: RIO'S MAKEOUT DEN
Natter 17: Et Tu, Foamy?
The Ides are either the 15th or the 13th, depending on the month, so the ship will have sailed by Natter 17.
Specifically, The Ides are:
March 15, April 13, May 15, June 13, July 15, August 13, September 13, October 15, November 13, December 13, January 13, February 13
ETA:
There's a mnemonic:
Everything can be summarized in three simple rules, one of which has a poem associated with it.
- The Kalends always falls on the first of the month
- The Nones falls on the fifth, except as described by the following poem:
March, July, October, May
The Nones are on the seventh day
- The Ides falls 8 days after the Nones.
Holy crap.
/me bows to DX's advanced Ides knowledge.
Two years of high school Latin, unfortunately. Some stuff just sticks with you.
