And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

My understanding is that "regular" is the industry term meaning "in opening credits".

Mine too. Though a more accurate definition might be "contracted for a full season of episodes." That contract generally extends to a place in the opening credits.

[edit: changed from "22" because I realize that's not a universal -- a regular on 24 will be contracted for 24 episodes, and a regular on The Sopranos, 13 eps. MEverse shows have 22 hour seasons.]

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm still a little lost, but I think it's lack of sleep. Gonna go get coffee, and then if someone could explain it to me in small patronizing babytalk words, I'd actually not be offended and appreciate it!

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Yes, I like Steph's addition a lot. It was what I was trying to convey, but couldn't.

(probably for the same reason I spelled that as "convery")

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Allyson, I think essentially, we want to change the spoiler poilcy so that if a main cast member is added between seasons (like Gillian Anderson coming to AtS and being in the opening credits), we can discuss it in the main threads AFTER Mutant Enemy has announced it. (Versus what we do now, which is wait for the WB to run a promo with Gillian Anderson, and THEN we can discuss it.)

The same is true for a main character leaving between seasons -- if Alexis Denisof is going to be on "Everybody Loves Raymond," we can discuss it in the main threads now.

Yes?

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

explain it to me in small patronizing babytalk words,

If anybody can do this to the entire FAQ, I will laugh really really hard, and possibly snarf milk out my nose.

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

Yes, Steph.

Because I'm on UK time, I'm going offline in a minute. However, I have no problem with the proposal being wrngled over in Lightbulb in my absence.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Do you have a fourth, proposal-grabber?

(Yes, this is what I was going to propose, but I got all tired and stuff, and just woke up.)

If not, fourth.

"1. Personally, I think this should be for between seasons only.

ITA.

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

1. Personally, I think this should be for between seasons only.

In all honesty, this is likely to be the last between-seasons for Angel, so I'm not even sure this needs to be spelled out. But maybe as future policy...

Does Jim need another seconder? If so, I'm in.
