The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Maybe in addition to sending a letter to the BBB, we also send a copy to the NY State Attorney General. He's been fairly active in going after internet consumer ripoffs.

I like this idea, especially if the letter has a "cc" field to let HR know that the BBB has received the letter along with the Atty. General. If other boards that have been suckered by HR happened to write in at the same time, it should cause a few spasms of worry.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Already been brung.

Here

I went with Susan's because, well, I liked it, and it was the most recent thing I'd seen.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Natter 13: Maybe it's not such a good idea for you to piss us off.

I like it.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Natter 13: Maybe it's not such a good idea for you to piss us off.

Oh, yeah. This is perfect.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

The thought does occur to me that while HostRocket won't see the thread title, occasional newbies might do as they find this site and its attendant warning not to piss us off. Is it too belligerent for people who are unfamiliar with the backstory?

I don't think so. (a) it's a show quote (b) we're snarky (c) most folks lurk before posting so they'd know what we're about. Also, other thread titles aren't so crabby.

True, but (a) Not everyone will recognise it off the bat, nor will all those who recognise it know why we chose it and that it's not directed at, say, them (b) I don't think 'snarky' is the first word that comes to mind concerning this proposed title, I mean we're considering it because essentially we were sufficiently pissed off at HR to discuss, albeit reject, legal action - that's beyond snarky to me (c) they'll see the thread title before they even decide whether to lurk, let alone post.

It may not be a big deal, really, it just makes me a bit uneasy as a thread title.
