Nice Julie. Thanks.

Julie! Excellent. So it seems that the better episodes generate more discussion. We have four episodes left - shall we estimate 3000 posts for each? And some more room for anticipation, natter, and speculation?
That means that the final episode might be discussed in the thread after next.
And because you've created a monster for comparison's sake

I dunno, Elena. That seems optimistic. Conversations with Dead People was a great episode and it was, what? not even 1500 posts. I think that the time between episodes is a bigger factor than the quality of the episode. I'd be surprised if any of the next four generate more than 2000 a piece. It's the end, so people will have a lot to say, but then they're coming one after the other now, so they'll only have a week to say it.
So there'll be a lot of discussion in the wrap, and yes, that will create another thread. But before 7/22? I doubt it.
I always liked Oz's 4/22 line ".... and we're done".
"Grr Arrgh" is more like an exclamation mark after the show is concluded.
So it could work that way too.
But definitely "Grrr Arrgh" needs to get a chance to wear a title tiara, and flaunt its thready glory!
So it seems that the better episodes generate more discussion.
Um...
Conversations with Dead People, 1368.
Showtime, 2721.
But it does seem that my 400 posts guess was a wee bit off.

Which, yes, was not entirely accurate, was it. Thing is, so many of the episodes have been entirely unmemorable.
There's a few S7 eps I can't tell apart -- Bring on the Night, Get It Done, Showtime. It's all like one big Uber-vamp episode.
I vote Big Damn Evil, Sir.
So, between the current Buffy thread and the upcoming one we have just under 12000 posts. Do we think that the last 4 eps will fit in there?
And, really, why am I so tied up with this? Because we should just wait to see what happens with the next episode. If it generates 3000 posts, then we might reasonably expect to have 2 threads between now and the last episode.
Or, we could name the next one, "Grrr Argh" and then, if there's one after that, name it "And We're Done".
or after grr argh, have "can we rest"
