And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

So it seems that the better episodes generate more discussion.

Um...

Conversations with Dead People, 1368.
Showtime, 2721.

But it does seem that my 400 posts guess was a wee bit off.

Thanks for all the fish.

Which, yes, was not entirely accurate, was it. Thing is, so many of the episodes have been entirely unmemorable.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

There's a few S7 eps I can't tell apart -- Bring on the Night, Get It Done, Showtime. It's all like one big Uber-vamp episode.

I vote Big Damn Evil, Sir.

Thanks for all the fish.

So, between the current Buffy thread and the upcoming one we have just under 12000 posts. Do we think that the last 4 eps will fit in there?

And, really, why am I so tied up with this? Because we should just wait to see what happens with the next episode. If it generates 3000 posts, then we might reasonably expect to have 2 threads between now and the last episode.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Or, we could name the next one, "Grrr Argh" and then, if there's one after that, name it "And We're Done".

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

or after grr argh, have "can we rest"

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Call me nuts, but isn't there just a chance that the amount of discussion between episodes is at least partially dependent on the length of time between new episodes?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Not to mention a bunch of other random factors (were there any grammar wars in there?)

Thanks for all the fish.

Filbert!

Brazil!

Cashew!

But you're also right, Burrell.

Nobody

Julie. You mathed. You tabled. You okay?

Call me nuts, but isn't there just a chance that the amount of discussion between episodes is at least partially dependent on the length of time between new episodes?

Peanut! Shoot, that's a legume. I always make that mistake. Blame Elena. She bogarted all the good nuts. But yes, Julie mentioned the same thing in her table post and in the following as well:

. I think that the time between episodes is a bigger factor than the quality of the episode.

There was a month between Storyteller and Lies My Parents Told Me. That was the only period that generated 3000.

So, between the current Buffy thread and the upcoming one we have just under 12000 posts. Do we think that the last 4 eps will fit in there?

Yes I do. But... Well, I kind of like Taking a Moment and We're Done, and using Grr Arrrgh as a coda, like Julie suggested. Of course she only suggested And We're Done and she called Grr Arrrgh an exclamation point, but I already typed what I typed and didn't go back to check until after, and well, you know what I mean.
