Well, look who just popped open a fresh can of venom.

Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!

We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Can I carry you guys around with me in my cargo pockets so you can emphatically agree with my suggestions in daily life? Hee.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sure!

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Something is wrong with my monitor. It sounds like there is agreement in Lightbulbs. This happened last time it was open too! Someone has spiked the Kool-Aid!!

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Mmmm, tasty Kool-Aid!

iow, Yes, I'm liking the whole Close-by-Feb, extend-to-March-for-pinch-hitting thing.

Swouncing

In the spirit of Buffistas agreeing with each other - and since it seems fitting, what with how I'm Jewishly only behind-the-scenes in the whole gift giving-and-receiving fun - I volunteer to tally the votes, if that's OK.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Nilly. You are so very wonderfully you.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

That's fine with me so long as slackers feel the end of February gives them enough slack.

So...not having heard any dissenting opinions, does this work?

Proposal: To set a closing deadline of March 31st for the Goodbye and Good Riddance Thread. As of the last day of February, any ungifted Santa or Slacker Santa giftees will have the option to throw their names back into the pool to be gifted by other volunteers, which will be a way for people who found themselves unable to gift for one reason or another to bow out gracefully and for everyone to get closure on the year without the thread going on for months.

You may want to edit out the extraneous "any". Says the guy who makes typos frequently enough to include in his handle.
