Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!

We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah -- I'm just now watching it on BET, so I couldn't go into a thread where the current season was under discussion in blackfont. And it's really not a traditional procedural, either.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

From SA upthread:

I think since we've already made a place for the Cable television, the Procedurals thread would only apply to Network television.

Should Network be specified as part of the ballot question, then? Is this also a question for the proposed Comedy thread?

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Offtopic to Jesse: The Wire on BET was severely cut during S2. Rent the DVDs!

Yeah, I noticed that about S2, but S3 was bumped back up -- broadcasting in an hour and a half, instead of just one hour. No wonder I could never figure out what the fuck was going on. I think I need a DVD player, but that just leads to Netflix and craziness.

No, no -- Netflix is good. You should join us all in our Netflixing.

What is even happening?

I'd really rather the comedy thread wasn't a catch-all. People like to know what they're going to get spoiled for when they go in a thread.

I don't understand why we're making the procedural bucket so big. It seems to me that an awful lot of people thought the experimental bucket threads were too big. Maybe the three or four biggest procedurals that Buffistas watch and are afraid of getting spoiled for (per brenda's poll) might make a better bucket thread -- than all procedurals.

Art Crawl!!!

What do you mean by a catch-all?

You mean that you don't want which comedies in this thread? There really are only a couple that get any sort of conversation at all: HIMYM and the Office. Possibly some of the Fox cartoons. And TDS and the Colbert Report. That's maybe 6 or 7 things.

Sweet. They caught the re-up.

I've given up on this issue. I figure I'll just vote no and see how things fall out.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I don't understand why we're making the procedural bucket so big.

I don't think it's big. ::shrug:: It's a subset of the larger television discussion. Seems to me that's filtering it down.

You mean that you don't want which comedies in this thread? There really are only a couple that get any sort of conversation at all: HIMYM and the Office. Possibly some of the Fox cartoons. And TDS and the Colbert Report. That's maybe 6 or 7 things.

I agree with sumi.
