Seriously, is anyone planning to discuss after the DVDs come out? I'd be kind of surprised to see it (and hey, we're about to have a Network Drama thread, so it could always go there).

Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!
We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!
I agree that it would be a kind thing to the thread denizens to wait for DVDs, but in that case, shouldn't we be hold the discussion then? Something feels really strange to me about voting now to close a thread at Thanksgiving.
Honestly, I think we should shut down the thread, now. I added the after-the-DVDs choice, because it was mentioned in Bureau. I love my dead, snarky show, but it's dead, and since we've added a couple of new threads, it feels wrong (to me) to hold onto a niche thread like this one, since the show is over.

This is how I feel.
Oh, and The Bionic Woman would obviously go in the female superhero of artificial nature thread. Sillies.
Well, will we have a drama thread though? I am not in favor of closing something until we have a place for the discussion to go that's already open. What if the vote is such that we don't have a network drama thread? I'm not sure I'm assuming such a thread is inevitable.
There are supposed to be some new bits on the VM DVDs (e.g. a promo for what would have been a 4th season) and extras that I'm not quite sure about. It might be nice if people had the chance to discuss it.
But if I'm alone in all the above, so be it.
There's still Natter.
yeah, and we are now back to: I don't go in there very much because I can't keep up at all.
No, no, Cindy. "Female Superheroes of Artificial Nature is too specific at this point. We can do "Superheroes of artificial nature" or "Female Superheroes", but, really, is the genre popular enough in that specific?
Now, "Females with special powers who fight people who are sort of like them, only Eeeeeevil", that requires a thread.
I shan't be seeing the rest of VM until the DVDs come out. However, I can't guarantee it will be within the first month.

Not me-- I already discussed the season. Firefly, I could see it. VM, nsm.

edit,
le nubian, I didn't mean to ignore your on-topic comments. I just figure when I post a link to cheesecake shots of Piz, including a bare tush shot, and not one Buffista comments? The thread is dead. The vote will decide it.
(shrug) maybe. I just think it might be nice to close the thread after the DVDs. I'm not quite sure what the rush is.
Well, we need clear bright lines, but, really, how can we have cross-pollination with such narrow categories? t puts hands on hips I mean, really, "vampire shows" is too narrow. It is clearly far more sensible and will create a more vibrant community if we do "immortal shows": "supernatural entities shows", though, man, that's just so big...
Gotta say, that standard of deadness is very Buffista-ish.
