Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!
We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!
I think the reality show experimental thread was a resounding success, and a permanent version should be opened as soon as possible!
Yeah, not too much constructive to add here.
Just to clarify: 24 hour whitefront, yes?
I suppose we could use this time to come up with a clever name.
Non-fiction 1: It's all haircuts, supermodels, and fancy cuisine
The current proposal under discussion:
Proposal: To create a new permanent television bucket thread like the Experimental Non-fiction Thread, name to be determined. This thread will be a NAFDA thread.
----
I'd like to request night-of whitefont of who's been eliminated from contest shows (or the winner, in the last episode).
Night-of whitefont I could get behind. Longer than that, I don't quite see the point.
A night of whitefont for eliminated contestants, and maybe some of the wow factor, seems reasonable, though the experimental thread was completely NAFDA and seemed to work fine that way.
I have no objection to this bucket thread in the format. Night-of whitefont would be good for the end of competition-style shows, but otherwise I think the thread was great.
I just kept clicking on the thread by accident, and the first thing that I'd see (not necessarily the first post, but it would always jump out) is "I can't believe X got cut!!!"
I couldl live with night of white font if I had to, but why not just stay out of the thread until the morning if you haven't watched? It would kind of take the fun out of watch and posts of shows that have someone voted out every week. I think the white f nt options should be part of the vote, much like Cindy did forthe experimental thread vote. I didn't hear anyone complain about the experimental thread having no whitefont.
but why not just stay out of the thread until the morning if you haven't watched?
If you're like me, you're subbed to a thread and forget about it until you click Read New. And then you go, "Oh, crap, I just got spoiled for whatever show was on tonight."
