The reason I say a day is exactly because there is so much television that's going to be on in the next six weeks. Sweeps and season finales are going to be boom boom boom right after another, and I think it will be hard enough having to go through the potentially large number of shows that could potentially be discussed and follow a thread of discussion--helpful show indicator at the beginning of a post or not--without having to deal with whitefont.
Granted, I won't be nearly as concerned about this once I can set my css to ignore whitefont altogether. But until that happens, I lean more towards once it's aired. Or at least a day after it's aired.

You can do that right now at css.buffistas.net.
Oh, I'm liking the sound of that.
Although, would people who don't want to read whitefont remember to post in whitefont? I'm thinking no.

See, this would be exactly the reason that I would want a bit more time. With this much TV going on I'm going to be doing a decent amount of it on a few days lag via Tivo. I'm free enough right now that I won't be too far behind, but when the shows are hitting quickly I can't watch them all at once.
I could put the days to a vote, I suppose. I was hoping to keep the ballot simple, but it's no big.
I think Dana's point is important to remember. Various threads have various white font/black font rules. So...let the thread proposal dictate that.
I get the feeling that we're not going to have an FX bucket thread now, but if we did the Premium people would probably put out the proposal and they could set the terms.
Also, it's good to compromise. It's good to be flexible.
For the sake of experiment we could have different threads with different white font and spoiler policies.
That's basically what we have now anyway and it seems to work.

Really? You made the change to the "s" quickedit?
Let's check!
Why, yes you did! Cool!
Hmm. Guess that means I'd better start using the quickedit instead of specifying font color, huh?
