Am I supposed to not doubt this will happen?
And I'd go so far as to say it's probably likelier than a new Star Trek show. Wouldn't even need any of the old cast. The world is already built, and yea, it has its fans.
'Underneath'
We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!

Still not with the assuaging, but it's beyond the point.
I think the Buffistas have a Buffyverse legacy, and expecting to duplicate parts of that are impossible without time travel or a reset button. It's too different now.
That icon is beautiful, Vonnie.
I'm pro-VM thread. There were a lot of times last season where I wanted to discuss VM and had to make a choice between skipping a lot of Natter to do so, or just not discuss it. (Yes, I know, Threadsucking, but I'm lazy.)
Posted elsewhere, but for completism, Joss Lurves Veronica Mars.
Not that that should influence things for a thread. it's just so damn fanboy. Hee
He's so fanboy he quotes the show in his thread titles.
Can I make a plea to keep the "shall we have a TV folder" discussion/vote separate from "shall we have a VM thread"? ita, I'm right in saying there's no technical issue with moving a VM thread into any future TV folder, neh?
You are correct, Jim.
Just showing up to wave a big Veronica Mars Yay! flag. I seem to remember that it came in a close second to a Lost thread back when we voted, and interest in it has only grown. I'd certainly be an enthusiastic participant....
They are separate issues. I wasn't trying to conflate them, just roundaboutly bring up the idea that I think this thread is the one after the breaking of the camel's back, and it's bigger than just "I want a thread to discuss my thing in" -- it's back to the who are we and how do we handle who we are discussion.
For me.
I dislike the adding adding adding without the reorganisation. Organic's only going to get you so far.
FWIW, I'd be fine with a TV folder - I know what you mean about the number of threads on the homepage - and if you propose that I'll second it, certainly. After I get my VM thread...
