Oh my god. What can it be? We're all doomed! Who's flying this thing!? Oh right, that would be me. Back to work.

Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!

We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

The draft proposal is as follows:

PROPOSED: that we close the existing Buffy and Angel threads, and open a new combined thread. The name of this combined thread will be "Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!"

[I'm happy to leave the title out of the proposal, but with the Buffy Thread closed, I figured I'd expedite things]

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Are we discussing combining threads? Cause I want to go on record, for the first time ever, as NO OPINION! I have no concerns one way or another.

Wow, Kat! I never thought I'd see the day! ;)

There's some pre-proposal discussion here: Topic!Cindy "Bureaucracy 3: Oh, so now you want to be part of the SOLUTION?" Mar 4, 2005 7:57:36 am PST

Also, discussion will run until Monday night at midnight. Voting will be Tuesday 3/8 through Thursday 3/10. So says I, unless someone has a good reason that will change my mind.

We'll need a vote counter. Volunteers?

Our wings are not tired.

I like the notion of combing them. No shipper, but love the 4EVAH notion. I haven't finished either thread due to denial issues.

I can count Jon.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Jon, I'll count.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I disagree (ETA: with the proposal). We're BUFFistas. It was Buffy that brought us together originally, way back when.

I support a separate Buffy thread to honor our origins.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Wow, Kat! I don't think I know how to do that. It takes absolutely no effort for me to have an opinion. Even if I was utterly uninformed just moments before.

Anyway, I have only a mild and deferrable opinion here.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Just to restate my position -- I like the nostalgia of keeping new threads, but ultimately don't care if we combine.
