And the thing is, I like my evil like I like my men: evil. You know, straight up, black hat, tied to the train tracks, soon my electro-ray will destroy metropolis BAD.

Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!

We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I shouldn't even bother to post if I can't do it without it being hopelessly out of date (baby emergency). Sorry LeN. I'm just trying to help. I shall stop it. I agree that the two you've named make the most sense.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

You do realize Le Nub, that when you blithely proposed the thread in Bureaucracy, all the battle-scarred veterans were holding their breath, as if the new Mom in the neighborhood had volunteered to organize the bake sale with no knowledge of the hot cross bun riot of '82.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Yeah, if you go back to Spoilers you'll see that I'm the first person to raise the issue. And then again, I was the person to raise the issue in Bureau. But did I propose the thread? No. 'Cuz I knew you'd just shrug if I said the phrase "preferential voting" whereas for most of us there's an involuntary flinch at its mention.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Is it a flinch? I always think of it as more of a twitch.

(edited to remove evil)

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

'Cuz I knew you'd just shrug if I said the phrase "preferential voting" whereas for most of us there's an involuntary flinch at its mention.

Not all of us, though. Not for the Actuaries of the Damned.

I should note that San Francisco is instituting preferential voting for this next election.

Man, you'll all be lucky if you don't develop a permanent tic.
