Me too.
Can you, for my own selfish curiosity, suggest alternative spoiler lites? Like one that's just whitefonted spoilers?
Honestly, the sort of stuff you've listed there is stuff I'd like to see whitefontable in main threads.
That thread is very low fat.
Would allowing plot discussion like ita is looking for, in white font, be unworkable in a lite thread. Couldn't it be labeled?

So then what's the difference between Spoilers and SpoilersLite? The latter is white-fonted and the former isn't? That seems wasteful to me.
I need some help here with other alternatives...
1) so there would be the one above that I just posed;
2) a spoiler lite thread where episode titles and writers of eps were not white-fonted and everything else (including discussion) was white fonted.
Couldn't it be labeled?
I think the main question is would it get in there at all. Personally, I know I'm way too lazy to be posting spoilers once in the main thread and then again in Lite, whitefonted.
That seems wasteful to me.
Yeah, me too. Which is why I'm pessimistic. I guess I can just vote against discontinuing whitefonting in the existing thread and be quiet.
I don't think the term Spoilers Lite is doing the main concept here any favours. What there will be is a no holds barred spoiler discussion thread, and a spoiler announcement thread.
Well if the spoiler announcement site lists episode titles and writers-directors and then links to off-site casting/plot spoilers. And the other site just discusses w/no white font at all.
That would be fine with me.
I'm more concerned about the definitions, since I see what I want rushing towards the horizon.
But is that how Spoiler Lite has been discussed here? Discussion-lite, announcement heavy, but no meaty announcements right there -- basically a no-natter zone.
I still don't get the linking rationale. If a friend tells me he's been cast as Jack's father in whatever show, I really have to go make a post in LJ and link back to it?
