All right, yes, date and shop and hang out and go to school and save the world from unspeakable demons. You know, I wanna do girlie stuff!

Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!

We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'd prefer one big spoiler thread, no whitefont. But I'm pretty much a take-all-comers spoiler doxy and not some fancy-pants companion with an exclusive high-end clientele.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, that is part of the appeal of spoiler threads, eh, no bothering with the whitefont?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I'm with amych on one, big spoiler thread, no white font, as long as the warning is well-marked so that people know "here there be hardcore spoilers".

If nothing else, I think we should start it that way - if it's not working, then we can decide to white-font later. I just think it's easier to add white-fonting if we want it, then it is to take it away.

On the Wonderfalls question - weren't the Canadians going to get it (or was it some other un-American group) or have they already? That was one of the reasons that the Firefly Spoilers was kept going, I know.

I can't even.

The Canadians are getting it, eh? Weekly sweet sweet Wonderfalls loving. I don't think anyone's talking about it in Ass though. I think we're more likely to talk about it in Atlantic or in Minearverse.

Up with the sun

If no one's using Lovesick, and no one has a problem with discussng the DVDs or canadian run elsewhere, I would agree that we should close the thread. That said, I still feel like it's another proposal, unless anyone feels strongly that it really needs to be rolled into this vote.

As for the spoilers thread ... I'm honestly not sure what is best. As a spoiled person, I agree that an all-shows, no-whitefont approach would work for me. I don't know if it would be remotely palatable to the lite spoilers people.

I would object to WF discussion of unaired episodes in Minearverse until some time after the DVD comes out.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Certainly no harm in revisting the suggestion of closing it in the Spring, I think.

Tim's new show would likely air in January, about the same time Wonderfalls is released on DVD, and I was thinking they could be switched out or something. But it looks like I'm jumping the gun, the gunner, and the entire platoon.

Isn't Minearverse NAFDA?

Since when are unaired eps, NAFDA?

Fair enough. I don't think the active Canadian posters are likely to post about them anywhere other than Atlantic anyway, and I have no problem taking it to Lovesick if that is still around.
