For example, we're the only thing that google finds for "corsets flaming otters."
For some reason that makes me smile.
Maybe a title involving the "'sode" line?

We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!

Bet it is scaring Tim too.
I don't live in his head, I wouldn't presume to know,
I don't *think* it actually matters that the search terms are on the page.
It does. The linking like that matters too, but so does the actual page content. (When google gets a hit that's based solely on links, the little blurb beneath the link on the google page will have just the beginning of the page. When the text is in the page, that'll be excerpted and bolded.)
What Allyson said. Plus, he seems to be posting as often as ever...
(Which is kind of part of the problem, isn't it? Not him posting, but that when he posts he attracts a bunch more posts. We should steal his Internet connection. :-))
Here's a problem with "hiding" the thread -- can we actually come up with an obscure yet recognizable slug as well? Because that's googlable too
Title: A Too Brief 'Sode
Description on message center and main page: A thread to discuss all 13 sodes of that show that only ran for four, on FOX, on Fridays, and then a Thursday, in the slot where they are now rerunning the abomination
Description at the top of the thread: Discuss all 13 episodes of Wonderfalls here. (This one shouldn't be googlable, right, because it's inside the thread?)
Tim's one of us. Only cuter. It's a press problem.

It theoretically shouldn't be googlable, but it could be if enough people link there.

Unless Google has changed its response to header fields and robots.txt, it won't be googleable.
Is there going to be a way, other than quasilegal downloading and/or copying, for a significant number of people to see these unaired episodes? I'm curious how many people are going to be able to use this thread. I'm also against encouraging people to download or copy the episodes.

Wasn't there an issue a few months ago with a page where Joss had posted being picked up by google? I remember someone commenting on it when they tried googling someone's tagline and getting a thread page come up.
