OH CRAP. Which reminds me. . .
1. We still need someone to count votes.
2. Do we need MVT on each item or only on the total ballot? Cause that would make a difference on giving a no preference choice.
Seriously, I don't want to debate it. I just want the facts.
My opinion, the MVT should be voters on any issue, or Buffistas participating. The NP don't count for the majority situation.
I can count again if no one else is in the queue.
proposing ballots: it's a dirty job but somebody's got to suffer for it.
Technically (from a technical radial button/html standpoint), do people have to vote on all issues?
Here are the facts from someone who wishes his brain cells were filled with something other than this knowledge:
- Each ballot question is tallied separately. The MVT must be reached for each question separately for that particular question's votes to count.
- No preference votes count towards the MVT
- No preference votes do not count towards whether something gets a majority vote. If the tally is Yes-5, No-4, NP-50, the question passes.

Funny x-post with Kat! :)

There was a queue!
Okay, Laura, so as long as we get MVT on each issue, they don't actually count towards the total. So 50 people vote. 47 were no preference. 2 were for. 1 was against. The "for" has it?
Bless you DX!

I understand every one of those words. Yet my mind refuses to put them together so they make any kind of sense. I can't believe I ever partook in discussions on these matters. Need some coffee.
And, Bless you, too, Jon! Is this all really in your head, or did someone write it down somewhere?
NEAT. And to think I voted against No Preference counting for MVT. Now, it seems handy.
Wolfram, remember, you have a newborn. We'll forgive you if you don't remember the thrash. Me not remembering the result? No good reason except stress, school and gray hair.
t Tries to figure out what prompted him to volunteer to count a ballot containing 12 questions. He's not drunk. Maybe he should do something about that...
Sigh. It's in my head, but I still have Nutty's summary on my 'puter that I really will edit and post someday.
