Thanks for clarifying Katie. I hope I didn't sound like I was jumping on you.

Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!
We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!
Wow, thanks for putting that together Kat. I skipped a few hundred posts and skipped to recent to see what was up. I think I would feel more comfortable voting on the thread issues that involve threads I participate in and abstaining on the threads I never visit.
Jumping in late to ask if we are voting on this stuff anytime soon because there are quite a few points to consider here.
Most of the consolidations make sense to me. In particular #5 is a no-brainer and should take place immediately.
Thanks for clarifying Katie. I hope I didn't sound like I was jumping on you.
Nah. I just figure that when it comes to bureaucratic discussions clarity all-round is a good thing.
Good ballot.
The only part I don't like is closing them all and archiving. It makes more sense to my brain to just close and archive PPO, and perhaps change Bitchy Fic's title to Buffista Fic.
This. If we can change the name, and close and archive PPO and Anthology (?) I think it would be more sensible.
The only change I'd request is sneaking in the Ikea thread name for due South/Smallville.
Due South/Smallville/IKEA/Farscape sounds good to me. :)
Due South/Smallville/IKEA/Farscape/ would be hilarious.
Why Ikea? Is there some significance to it other than it's fun to say for some people?
Of course, I'm picturing HoYaytastic natter interspersed with "So...is this where I post a question about my ELLNE desk chair?"
Why Ikea? Is there some significance to it other than it's fun to say for some people?
It's a semi-pun on "Fannish TV" which sounds like "Finnish TV" which is close enough to Swedish to remind someone (Kat? Katie?) of IKEA.
Which is just kind of stream-of-consciousness humour that appeals to me.
Yes!
