Unless you're into that sort of thing
Are you asking if Buffistas are into that sort of thing???
Hoo boy, you just opened yourself up to a world of porn.
'Our Mrs. Reynolds'
We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!

Just for reference, He Who Shall Not Be Named was first suspended just under three months ago. (NOT reopening that discussion in any way, but I think it's a useful marker of "that's how long three months on the Phoenix board is.")
The Phoenix was born almost exactly 6 months ago.
I can't think of anything specific from 1 year ago off the top of my head.
So I think I'm leaning towards 6 months at this point. It's a happy medium.
And fuck you, Sean. ;)
Hey Sean: Monkey = 12!
I don't know what it means, but I didn't feel like swearing.
Real post, I agree with 3 and 6 months being the two we vote on.
And fuck you, Sean. ;)
:)
If it feels good, do it. To me. (sounds porny, but isn't. Unless you're into that sort of thing).
Steph's not around, is she?
...But seriously, folks. Susan, I think we might be able to reopen a discussion by acclamation (sp?) if something really out of the ordinary happens.
I agree a year is too long.
And I propose that Sean K needs to stop offering to take our abuse. It's indecent. t /faux propriety
we will reopen a discussion when I say so!
Umm.. No...
we will reopen a discussion if a consensus is that a major factor has changed?
I'm thinking that emergency re-opening would have to be brought up in Bureaucracy. Or something.
Though, I'm a bit worried about reopening discussion due to a change in circumstances because it seems like a big easy loophole to just talk about the verbotten subject, even though it's been shelved.
Not that I can think of an easily acceptable set of standards to apply.
There's that 'c' word again...
But yeah, that sounds reasonable. Some kind of "barring unforseen major events" phrase should be built into the final proposal language.
Well, since we are an ME board, i would say we could reopen a disucssion because of changes in the ME universe (i.e. Joss starts a new show or maybe even Jane goes to Gilmore Girls?)
