Thanks for all the fish.

Um, do you mean that you ALREADY KNOW of two BCSs on the show? In other words, your knowledge and mine is the same? But that I can't discuss it openly for fear of spoiling you?

Burrell, I stated very clearly, several times, that I've been spoiled on two things. I have no idea if the two things I'm spoiled on are the two things that you're spoiled on - this is something that I've also stated several times (though not, I believe, directly to you). I'm trying to keep other people from getting spoiled, and myself from being spoiled further.

I do not see how my current spoiler status affects my position.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Though, I do need to add, to mitigate my post above, the Angel leaving would only be until October 8th.

Which makes me think -- haven't some of the people who've already left for the Spoiler thread done so for larger spoiled reasons, and would therefore be out in October anyway?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Are writers of episodes considered spoilers as well?

Not to my knowledge.

Nobody

Where will I hear that? If my best friend says "oh, did you hear that Michelle Trachtenberg's on Angel next fall?" how do I know if it's a leak, or a promoted addition to the regular cast? My best friend, I guarantee, will have no idea.

Or am I being obtuse too?

You're not being obtuse, you might possibly be over-thinking, but I can't say for sure. Maybe you're looking at it from the opposite angle in which I see spoilage working.

You come across spoilage. You know where you got it. Did you get it at TRUDYISDABOMB.COM or did you get it TheWB.com? Did you read it at spoilerslayer.com or did you read it in a New York Times article reporting the WB announced the Angel line-up? Was it AngelX telling you Bette Davis is coming to Angel, or was Jordan WHateverWBJerkSuit stating A and B will be back, C will join our cast, D is out? Typically, a decent spoiler site will either link you to an official source, or cite the official source, and then you do have your search terms, if you still need them.

---

Elena - unfortunately, right now, I can't give you the example. The WB's cast page is now screwed up. Right when BtVS ended, the WB's official show page (so you go to thewb.com, click on "shows", click on "Angel") announced the were renewing, and announced the cast for the upcoming season. Now it's gone wonky, and as Plei mentioned, is back to the season 3 cast page. That's because they don't know their Bayer from a Tylenol in the wall.

I think future episode titles were a courtesy white-out. I personally don't feel spoiled by them, but I have no idea about other denizens.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I know it is the perception, but it is NOWHERE represented in this conversation.

It's represented by the need to have this conversation to clarify spoilers, I think. Am I being an asshole, or something? Really, sometimes I just don't know.

ita, what's the deal with unAmericans as a safe haven for spoilerfree? Is it really behind or something?

Are writers of episodes considered spoilers as well?

Why not?

ex: Tim Minear is writing. Someone will likely die horribly.

My point - and I think perhaps ita's though I'm not sure - is that where would I come across the cast list information if I wasn't looking for it. It was a general question about information availability, not a question actually asking to see the list.

It's in the FAQ (that again, I think doesn't state our actual rules) that titles are not allowed in threads other than spoilers or spoilers lite. White font is not allowed.

If you checked the list in your newspaper about fall renewals, hoping AtS had been renewed back in May, which you wouldn't find, being not Stateside.

However, that's where I'd find it. And did.

I think future episode titles were a courtesy white-out.

Okay. I was surprised to see them listed in the FAQ. There's probably a lot of things in the FAQ that would surprise me.

Yes, I'm a rebel. I've only skimmed it.

Tim Minear is writing. Someone will likely die horribly.

It's not nice to taunt us all with the memory of what used to be. He hasn't killed anyone in FOREVER.

And sadly, Wonder Falls doesn't strike me as a very blood thirsty show.
