cereal; "Way to go, minions!" I literally have a lot of unicorns because that phase went on a bit long for me(And I still think maybe a second tattoo should be of one so maybe I'm not over it all the way, but maybe I've been in training to be Leftist Harmony for decades, now.) "I'm an activist, Spike, hello!" Belated good wishes for flea, and for anyone whose thing I forgot.

Timelies all!
I'm sorry for your loss, Plei.
Congrats, Erika. I have a digital subscription to EQMM, though I have been a bit lax about keeping up with the issues.
I think I gave Plei condolences, but you can't do too much of that, and with my impulsive postings, I could have neglected that, too, so every good thought for Plei and fam.
The Bengals won their season opener for the first time since 2021, my belly is full of tasty polenta and meatballs, and after 4 weeks on Zepbound I'm down 7 pounds. Not a bad day.
Tim's radiation starts tomorrow, 5 days a week for the next 7 weeks. Plus chemo 1 day a week for the same 7 weeks. So by Halloween, the cancer will be well and truly fucked. I just really pray the side effects are tolerable. The next 2 weeks should be more or less fine, so the goal is to fatten him up while it doesn't hurt to eat. Then the blender and Boost Very High Calorie formula become his new BFFs.
Excellent progress, Tep!
I kinda wish Tim weren't such a lean, rangy dude. He could use a some love handles right about now.
But I know you'll keep him calorically topped off.

He's pretty firmly in normal BMI territory, but like the low end of normal. He doesn't have a whole lot of wiggle room where he can lose some weight and be okay. I wish I could give him what I'm losing.

Gonna put cheese and butter in everything. Lots of smoothies with protein powder. And Boost really does make a formulation called Boost Very High Calorie, so that'll be the fallback.

My eyes just popped out of my head in cartoon character fashion. Caliente!

Hubba Hubba!
Plei I'm sorry about your mom
I hope Tim's chemo goes smoothly.
And boo to dental emergencies.
I have created a special hell for myself this month. Tonight we are driving up to Mom's so I can go to my 8 am deep cleaning dental appointment. Then next Mon I have off so we will go up there again.
Then I had my PT assessment and I am going to get PT to strengthen my neck and back muscles to help with the damage in my neck causing the pins and needles . And it will be Tues and Thursday but with my work schedule that means on Thursdays I'll have PT at 7 am before work.
I am not a morning person. I am not looking forward to all of this getting up early .
Ugh, 7 AM is early for PT. When I was working I had to go to the gym at 6 AM so I could be done and back to my desk by 8. I got used to it and found it a good way to start off the day. I hope it works well for you.
Lots of ~ma headed to Tim for effective and rapid healing.
Taking Skinner to the vet today. I think he might have eyesight issues. He really doesn't want to go up or down the inside stairs. I don't think it is his hips because he bounds through the forest like a deer. I put his harness on to go down the stairs next to him, giving him support, and that worked better. I took a video of his failed attempt to do it on his own. We redid the stairs a couple of years ago to make them easier for us, with steps being 12" deep and an 8" rise. Skinner didn't have any issues in previous years before or after the change. It could be eyesight or depth perception issues, joint issues, or just anxiety after a previous fall. Who knows. Hopefully, the vet will have answers.
