Also, you can tell it's not gonna have a happy ending when the main guy's all bumpy.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

He’s 78 now, and will hopefully have a full recovery from this.

It sounds like he got to the hospital as quickly as possible, which is definitely a plus for a full recovery. I'm glad he's doing well!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

He was apparently very lucky to have the heart attack at the gym where they had a defibrillator and people know cpr.

Punishingly Intricate

I was thinking that might have been a good place for him to be, sj

Thank you everyone. I’m home for the night. I’ll meet mom back at the hospital tomorrow.

Not javachik

Glad your stepfather was able to get fast help, sj. Hurray on ejection being normal -- I had to look at up, Jen. I'd never heard of that one. Speaking of hearts, double yay! Best of health on the knee Sheryl. Whoa re the various KKK involvement.

Folks on Ozempic or another of the GLP1's -- Has anyone done a comparison of the various compounded options to emerge with a clear winner for purity and price? I've been clicking "interested" on IG and am flooded with solicitations for zepbound. The only one I'd heard of before is Noom, who has their tracking and coaching but now with GLP1. I feel exhausted by all the data and wish for a spreadsheet that I don't have to create.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Laura, I dealt with my mom descending into dementia for several years--you have all my parent ~ma. Plus love and patience. And the same to you and your son.

SJ, all best thoughts to you and your family. It sounds like he's already out of the woods. Very lucky for it to happen among folks who knew their stuff and could care for him until he was in professional medical care.

Vortex, you made an indelible impression on our younger son, grandson's uncle. He sends a big grin and a hug back to you. Of course you make a wonderful impression on everybody--I miss you a whole lot.

Everybody else gets hugs--or elbow or fist bumps if hugs aren't welcome. We've had coolish weather--71F for the highs--over the weekend, and it's been so welcome. Up to 79F the next few days. Not Florida heat, nor any other place, probably. I'll whine and complain like it was 90F I'm so spoiled.
