Screaming hysterically at her children is a relatively recent behavior. She refuses to address any of her fixable issues, and her kids are growing tired of it. At this point, they almost always let her leave a message and call her back when they can get comfy and listen to the rants. She is going to end up living with one of us, or in assisted living, but she refuses to take care of herself, and insists she would never consent to living with her kids. Parents!
Continuing to send recovery vibes, and calming vibes your way, sj.
It was a heart attack. He’s in stable condition.
Stable is good. May his recovery be swift.
Still sending all the good vibes, sj. Stable is a good word, yes.
Oof, that's tough, Laura.
Yeah, sounds like she has some dementia issues.
Glad to hear your stepdad is stable, sj!
Sending -ma, sj. Glad to hear he’s stable.
They’re not letting ltc up to see him because she’s not 13.
All the love and ~ma to you and the family, sj.
Oh, definitely. My grandma got a second chance and lived for a long time after her heart attack.
Stepdad is super extra healthy because he saw his father die of a heart attack at 61. He’s 78 now, and will hopefully have a full recovery from this.
