I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I like Tilly as a girl dog name. Bix would work better as a cat name, although I’m sure I’d change it to Bixie almost immediately.

Punishingly Intricate

She’s gorgeous, ‘suela!!! Congrats to you both!

Tilly is a fab, name and character. She looks sweet. Congratulations to you both!

Lordy, do I need to hydrate better today. I kept waking myself up every hour last night with leg cramps. Ugh. And I'm sure I'll be just delightful all day after that kind of sleep. If you see me in here, ask me when the last time I had a sip was. Sheesh.

Wherever you're going, meara, I hope it's a good time.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Spike's Saga (to date)

Oh, that is totally excellent.

Way to go, Tom! Lord, I hope it isn’t a nightmare getting a new NC license.

What a pretty doggie, Consuela. I hope she’s a good fit for you.

Had a great day yesterday with errands and friend time and two! New! Bras! I got an every day “nude” (actually a medium brown) and a serious sports bra in highlighter yellow. The latter was on sale for half off, so the damage wasn’t too bad.

I realized last that that while I knew that I flare my ribs and that it was contributing to back pain, I did not realize it was worsened by wearing a band size too large and old, stretched-out bras. It’s humbling when you realize you are doing the thing that you are absolute convinced you aren’t doing. Been wearing a 36 for, oh, decades. Because of a professional fitting!

A good bra fitting is priceless. I'm not sure I've ever had a really great one, but... I've heard tell. Congrats!

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

I have a new puppy!

Yay! She's adorable!

Mariner is a great name but I’d end up calling her Marnie because three syllables and I’m lazy lol.

I call Murderbiscuit "Boo" more than half the time because 4 syllables is a bit much.

Our wings are not tired.

All beloveds are “boo” most of the time, right??

One time, Tim called me "Boo" and I laughed — because I thought it was cute! it was a laugh of delight! — but he never did it again.

Aww. The way pet names are twisted and turned cracks me up. I call my dog Goofus a lot. The friend who is dog sitting him bought him shoes and it is cracking me up watching her instagram stories.

I’m on the Oregon coast, with friends and their family. It was such a long drive yesterday, we didn’t get in until close to midnight. Hoping the drive back is much faster at the end of the weekend!

Jen I do not recommend the leg cramps! Drink up!

Smonster well fitting underpinnings are important indeed. I just tried the Reddit bra that fits calculator and the size seems improbable but I may try it next time I’m shopping and see if it actually works.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Matilda started as "Boo" but she's became "Boodle."

She survived Prom #1! Which was on a boat in high winds.

Tonight she has Prom #2!
