I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

That sounds like a really good weekend, Tom!

Askye, I hope the doctor can help you clear this up soon.

Our wings are not tired.

Yay for Very Good Weekends! I hope the trend continues, Tom. Love hearing this.

Askye, I hope they find answers quickly. Sending solutions~ma your way.

I sincerely hope that the PTB start paying their staff better so they don't have to have any more demonstrations of their worth any time soon.

Another serious issue in our healthcare system is the disparity in pay at different levels. I don't know what is going to happen when they deport half of our healthcare workers.

It was a completely unproductive weekend for me. So much on the list, and nothing struck through. Brendon spent all day yesterday from early morning to late night working on my car. He's ceramic coating it which involves lots of steps. He has it at the school where he coaches in the maintenance area. It is still there as apparently there is still another polishing step to be done. He'd planned to do it before I drive to NY this summer, but it got pushed up after a shopping center sprinkler system assaulted the car. Nasty stinky well water sprinklers. I'm sure I wasn't the only person unhappy. Big white spots all over that were a pain to wash away. The ceramic coating with help a lot with that kind of issue. In theory.

Speaking of cars, I am not in the market for one, and I usually don't notice them much (the last car that caught my eye was a McLaren in the grocery store parking lot, and Plei had to tell me why I was looking at from the picture I snapped, ha!), but the Kia K5 is a nice looking little sporty car. FWIW.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay, for very good weekends!

I was fairly productive this weekend, and I'm trying to keep up the momentum so I don't end up back in sloth mode, but a drastic change in the weather and the accompanying migraine have different plans for me.

msbelle, if I log into another device, I'm logged out on every other device too.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yes, same. Fortunately, it always pre-populates so it doesn’t take a minute.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

On the plane and heading home.

Great seeing old friends from Kenyon, Josh’s family and his wide circle of friends and colleagues.

I got to speak to speak on the second night. Got choked 2 or 3 times when the animal grief hit me but said my piece, made my tribute. Spoke from the head and heart.

Had a lovely stay at the Langham and Alibelle dropped homemade cookies off for me! (And they are so good.)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Yes, it really would be that simple if the content teams didn't have to work in Salesforce. Yes, really.

Thoughts and prayers. During my brief stint as Salesforce PM for [redacted] I spent so many commutes crying in my car that I eventually wound up taking a massive pay cut just to move to a new role far far away. Every time I encounter a new productivity workflow that is OBVIOUSLY just three Salesforce apps in a trenchcoat, I want to curl into a fetal position and hide. It is genuinely the worst.

“F continues to amaze me with her talent in all curriculum areas. She is the most engaged reader in the class by far and is totally committed to understanding every new math concept.”

Amazing! Totally brag-worthy!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I refer to software apps like Salesforce as “managerware”, because of how they shift work from managers onto their employees.
