Xander: I do have Spaghetti-os. Set 'em on top of the dryer and you're a fluff cycle away from lukewarm goodness. Riley: I, uh, had dryer-food for lunch.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

We're departing for the airport soon and already playing the game "how late will our flight be?" Was 5:05, currently 5:20. Bad weather in Dallas, of course.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Happy Boxing Day to you all, thanks for the good wishes, plus the start of Hanukkah And Kwanzaa! It's a holiday quad-header!

I did nothing on Xmas, didn't have energy to make any plans, and no one tried to offer any, so a day home was OK. I binged on the first couple of seasons of Ghosts (US), which I have to say holds up really well.

Getting my license renewed couldn't have been easier -- in fact, the T dropped me off about 40 minutes early. I went to the AAA office downtown in Boston, which lets you make appointments, they had all my info queued up. I had to go in person because my picture and signature had to be refreshed -- I'm not sure how long it's been since they were originally taken!

Now tagless for your comfort.

EM made a full tenderloin with a horseradish sauce, and a very rich pot of creamed spinach and I made Au Gratin potatoes (Comte, Sharp Cheddar and Gruyere). Best Au Gratin potatoes I ever made.

DH made a tenderloin for Christmas Day. It was exquisite.

Yes Crema sounds like the Puerto Rican Coquito that I make and love

Is this similar to horchata (Rumchata)? Because I love anything creamy.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Lots of people making and selling Coquito in my neighborhood and in all kinds of flavors. Yum.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

At work. Feels like Monday, but I know it’s Friday.

Down is up, up is down.

The week of 1/6 is going to seem like the longest work week ever.
