I keep getting emails from the Harris-Walz campaign warning me that I'm running out of time to buy campaign merch, and if I miss out, I won't have anything to look back on after November! Unfortunately, I bought campaign merch in 2016 and it wound up being the most depressing set of buttons/stickers/magnets I have ever owned, so NO THANK YOU. I will happily give money, please do not send me ANYTHING in return.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
That does not sound very sensible but does sound very believable, Jessica (the faucet part, not the campaign swag, which agreed is potentially depressing and which I feel I can absolutely buy after November if I so desire!)

Nice to hear about the signs, Gud. I hear reports from lots of red areas of surprising numbers of Harris signs. eta: here it is a noticeable lack of Trump signs compared to the past
I hear you on the swag. I did get several shirts which I wear out and about. Subtle ,la and blue flamingo stuff that only like-minded people tend to notice. My niece and I both wore our blue wave cat shirts to her son's soccer game, and she had pearls on too and no one noticed at all, but we were pleased with ourselves for the subtle message. She's a teacher so she can't wear blatant political swag. It is a stab in my heart every time I come across my 2016 t-shirts that I can't bear to toss or wear.
I did buy a shirt this time, Even though I have a swag museum in my closet.
erika, the Hillary you sent me still hangs out on the shelf right across from where I'm sitting.
That's cool. I've also added to my action figure collection. I bought Fauci and Zelensky(I have a Kamala, too)
It is getting cool here so I made yummy pumpkin chili! Pureed pumpkin, tomatoes, lentils, garbanzo beans, peppers, garlic, and artichoke hearts. Served with avocado slices because I like chunks of avocado in my chili instead of putting cheese on top. It was very autumn like!
I wonder if I could just leave out the tomato? Or would it need some other acidic element? This allergy is so annoying. I need someone to make a cheat-sheet for substituting tomato in recipes.
I wonder if I could just leave out the tomato?
Maybe you could adjust a white chili recipe? I haven’t tried this one, but it seems pretty typical for white chicken chili. [link]
There are also bean options out there.
I would think that just adding some vegetable broth would work. It is mostly the chili powder that makes chili chili. I did a quick Google search and found many recipes for chili without tomatoes. This one is meaty but I usually just do beans and/or lentils and/or the soy crumbles. My chilis are different every time! [link]
leave out the tomato?
