She got prescribed Tylenol + hydrocodone this time and she's getting side effects :( We're going to try stretching out the dosage schedule and see if that helps, and we'll just switch back to straight Tylenol if necessary, that was working well before. Other than that she's recovering well!
I did not do well getting back to sleep either time so I'm very tired. My niece is coming down today so I'll go home this evening and have a couple of days of just working and sleeping and getting new tires for my car...
We're apparently finally making the desk move that they first said we would probably do in June, I have signed up to move tomorrow. So that's exciting. I can't tell from the map if I will be near the windows (there are windows in this part of the building! Natural light! Possible a view of the parking lot!) or over be the kitchenette, either way seems good.

Things are going well here. ltc seems to be enjoying 5th grade. We’ve had excellent luck with the teachers at her school over the years, and I hope that will extend to middle school next year.

You can also alternate Tylenol and ibuprofen every three hours. (IANAD)

Ugh I hate when I gear up to do the onerous task and then it fails. I called the doctors office to make an appointment for vaccines and they were like “oh we are out, we may get more tomorrow so call back next week”. I was like “…can I call Friday if you’re getting more tomorrow?” And she was like well yeah. wtf. I’m not trying to make an appointment for today.

That is the nice thing about OneMedical - I can drop-in anytime without an appointment (to any office) to get vaccines or blood draws.
Oofdah, I've got a Zoom call with my financial advisor and my accountant in 20 minutes and it's going to be very complicated. I've got frickin' notes everywhere.
Bonus: the big IRA JZ inherited from her dad, which came to me has Required Minimum Distributions and I haven't been taking them because (a) I wasn't 65 yet and didn't know I had to; and (b) there are big IRS penalties for not doing so. So...probably kinda fucked on that one.
My mom has that on what she refers to as her pension (which I think she inherited from her dad). She doesn't include those in her budget, just uses them for unexpected expenses or gifts and it's worked out well for her so far. Hopefully you can catch up or something.
