My mom has that on what she refers to as her pension (which I think she inherited from her dad). She doesn't include those in her budget, just uses them for unexpected expenses or gifts and it's worked out well for her so far. Hopefully you can catch up or something.

Apparently the tax code was ambiguous and kinda FUBAR in '24 and '25 so the IRS issued a bunch of waivers on this issue. So I should be able to take care of it without penalty.
Note to everyone: If you inherit an IRA from someone else you have to empty it in 10 years! And at a certain point you need to start taking Required Minimum Distributions whether you're ready or not.
