Oh, that's very sad about Bridget. I saw her fairly often over the years as she would come in to SF from Sacramento. Though I don't know that I've seen her since the pandemic.
When I worked downtown we'd have lunch when she came into The City.
That's so young to die by a stroke.
I've barely seen her in person, just at the F2F I think, and I don't think I even posted with her much here, somehow, but we got to be pretty friendly on FB. Shocked and sad.
Aw man. Bridget.
It was nearly a week later, and she was far too young - but there goes our third fabulous soul.
I once asked her why she'd moved to Minneapolis. She said that when you grow up in North (iirc) Dakota, that's
the
big city. It was a perspective I'd never considered before. Then she went on to San Francisco, then Sacramento. She took the world by leaps and bounds.
I'm sorry to hear that. Although I can't say that being in this world right now feels like such a bonus, but she won't get to see if we make it better, either--the loss of possibility is also part of what's hard, right? And I know one day I'll be looking for her thoughts on my socials and have to relearn this all over again.
