Oy, askye, that's a lot.
I'm grateful that I didn't have to care for an aging parent.
On the one hand, because my dad remarried I didn't get anything when he died from the house he owned. OTOH, he had macular deterioration towards the end of his life and his wife took care of him the last several years of his life. So I did not begrudge her the house.
I am mildly freaked but also excited that we're making a bid on this house for Emmett and his gf. FreakCited.
It's gorgeous out in SF this morning, just glorious blue skies and 67 and breezy.
I went out to get coffee and ran into a couple I've seen who are usually walking their two dogs. A rescue missing an eye, and a little black Scottie dog with a proud trot.
They were stopped to pick up a poo, so I said good morning and...the Scottie wagged at me. So I bent down to pet him which he gladly received. I told them that getting a blessing from a Scottish Terrier is the greatest of all Terrier benedictions and they agreed.
