Sometimes your arms get tired of holding a book or reader before you want to stop reading. I get it. I have been known to switch between e-book and audiobook for that reason.

I think she likes her hands free to play with their kitties.
I have been tempted to get a holder and page turner so I can have my arms under a blanket.
All good reasons!
I have to say that Lana loves hers. She was posting happy videos turning pages.
I did NOT succeed in getting Matilda up before noon.
However, I DID succeed in getting her to go out to brunch with me when I did get her up.
She's off to therapy in a few and EM is coming by to organize.
We'll all go to dinner tonight with Emmett to Bar Crudo: [link]
Fancy seafood! Happy Hour Oysters!
Ooh, that is a nice looking happy hour! $2 oysters is pretty good! I still want to be able to get them for a quarter but I know that's not a thing that will happen.
Hi, friends. We are back from an amazing vacation to Ireland nested inside the trip we took to Connecticut for Dad's memorial. We've been gone 2.5 weeks, the longest we've ever been away from home at the same time. I need to go back and read since I tried to stay mostly offline and just skipped a bunch, but I hope everyone is okay.
Welcome back, Pix!
I went to Orange County for a couple of days for my birthday (Friday afternoon - Sunday evening) and since I've been back my cat's not acting right. At first I thought she was just punishing me (hiding, pooping next to the litter box) for going away a couple of days, but now I'm concerned about her. She hasn't eaten in a couple of days I think and when she moves from one spot to another (still mostly avoiding me), she's moving slow and staggering a bit. I think I should try to get her to a vet, except she's still hard to catch and I don't want to drive her into a panic when she's obviously feeling poorly (half-grown, semi-feral when we took her in - still not a fan of people AT ALL and hasn't been to the vet since she was spayed [that whole not being able to catch her thing]). Right now I'm just leaving her alone and making sure she's got water near by if she wants it. Monday and yesterday I was still hoping she might bounce back, now I don't know what to do ... if anything.
